. Sandford Park does not escape the universal curse of litter. If those who create it cannot be dissuaded from their unsociable habits then people who do care automatically feel the obligation to clear up the mess left behind. A programme of Sunday litter picks is being followed. Thanks to the generous assistance of The Sandford Alehouse, we meet there once a month in winter months and twice a month in summer months at 10:30am and conduct a one hour session around the park finishing up at the Alehouse to be greeted by a welcome cup of coffee/tea so kindly provided by the Alehouse. Members will be notified by email of the forthcoming dates but if you are not a member and would nonetheless like to join in, keep an eye on this website and make a note of the dates below.
